Through a “room-within-a-room” floating structure, precision acoustic modeling, and fully concealed audiovisual integration, it creates a multi-functional space that delivers both cinematic immersion and music production monitoring accuracy. All equipment is hidden behind clean geometric finishes, where acoustic materials become an integral part of the interior language. With one-touch smart switching, you can experience reference-grade cinema dynamics or enter a flat-response working state—a sanctuary of silence for the discerning ear.

In Beverly Hills, a seasoned music producer and film enthusiast sought a space that combined professional recording studio monitoring standards with immersive cinematic experience—not merely a home theater, but a private acoustic sanctuary.

The design team moved beyond prioritizing decoration over acoustics, grounding their work in studio-grade monitoring standards while deeply integrating architectural acoustics with interior aesthetics. Acoustic materials became the visual language of the space itself.

The core challenge was acoustic treatment. A “room-within-a-room” floating structure was implemented, with decoupled floors, walls, and ceilings to completely break the sound bridge—ensuring undisturbed quiet in the upper levels even during high-dynamic scenes. Based on 3D scanning and precise RT60 calculations, custom membrane resonance absorbers controlled low-frequency standing waves within ±3dB. Mid and high frequencies were addressed with alternating micro-perforated absorbers and quadratic residue diffusers, achieving a clean yet spacious soundfield aligned with top-tier recording studio control rooms.

For audiovisual integration, all speakers were flush-mounted, with precise directivity calculations ensuring optimal listening positions throughout. A professional 4K laser projector paired with a high-gain acoustically transparent screen delivered seamless audio-visual alignment. A whole-home smart system enabled one-touch switching between Cinema Mode and Monitor Mode, with acoustic presets adjusting automatically.
